Sir Oakley was a fine and loyal Paladin in the service of Bahamut. Through out his years of questing he had one thing in the back of his mind, the restoration of Gardmores Abbey. When finally contacted by lord Paige about potentially reviving the Abbey, Sir Oakley jumped at the chance.

It was at this point that Sir Oakley met the party after they had cleared the Abbey of the Orcs and mercenaries that had taken up residents. Oakley though informed them that their quest for clearing the Abbey was not at an end for there was an evil presence that still gripped the Abbey. Joining with the group Sir Oakley was capable of performing the ritual to cleanse the Abbey.

After that the group has counted Sir Oakley as one of their most staunches of allies, a man who is noble and trust worthy. He has since then tried his best to help the group in any fashion that he could.

Making the ultimate sacrifice Oakley called forth a boon from the platinum dragon, imbuing himself with great divine power at the cost of years in life. The more power he uses the shorter his life, knowing this though did not deter him from using max power in the defense of the Gardmores Abbey. In the end his life was shortened to hours and he passed away after the battle had been won, but not before leaving a legacy for his friends and allies.
